حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، - هُوَ الطَّحَّانُ - عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ بِمَعْنَاهُ وَقَالَ - يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم - ‏
"‏ لَوْ شَهِدْتُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُدْفَنَ لَمْ يُدْفَنْ فِي مَقَابِرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏
