The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Cutting of hand is not to be inflicted on one who plunders, but he who plunders conspicuously does not belong to us
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم
" لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُنْتَهِبِ قَطْعٌ وَمَنِ انْتَهَبَ نُهْبَةً مَشْهُورَةً فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " .
