‘Umar a dit : « Quand le Prophète (ﷺ) est mort, j’ai dit à Abu Bakr : Allons voir nos frères Ansar. Nous avons rencontré deux hommes pieux parmi eux, qui avaient combattu à Badr. » Quand j’ai raconté cela à ‘Urwa bin Az-Zubair, il a dit : « Ces deux hommes pieux étaient ‘Uwaim bin Sa‘ida et Manbin Adi. »
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله
عنهم ـ لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قُلْتُ لأَبِي بَكْرٍ انْطَلِقْ بِنَا إِلَى إِخْوَانِنَا مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ. فَلَقِيَنَا مِنْهُمْ رَجُلاَنِ صَالِحَانِ شَهِدَا بَدْرًا. فَحَدَّثْتُ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ فَقَالَ هُمَا عُوَيْمُ بْنُ سَاعِدَةَ، وَمَعْنُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ.
