J’ai demandé à 'Abdullah bin Abu 'Aufa : « Le Prophète (ﷺ) a-t-il laissé un testament ? » Il a répondu : « Non. » J’ai insisté : « Comment se fait-il que le testament ait été prescrit aux gens ou qu’on leur ait ordonné de le faire ? » Il a dit : « Le Prophète (ﷺ) a laissé un testament concernant le Livre d’Allah. »
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ـ رضى الله
عنهما ـ أَوْصَى النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ لاَ. فَقُلْتُ كَيْفَ كُتِبَ عَلَى النَّاسِ الْوَصِيَّةُ أَوْ أُمِرُوا بِهَا قَالَ أَوْصَى بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ.
