À propos du verset : « Cruel après tout cela, de naissance illégitime. » (68.13) Ce verset a été révélé à propos d’un homme de Quraych qui portait une marque distinctive (Zanamah), semblable à celle qu’on attache habituellement au cou d’un mouton pour l’identifier.
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله
عنهما ـ {عُتُلٍّ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ زَنِيمٍ} قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ لَهُ زَنَمَةٌ مِثْلُ زَنَمَةِ الشَّاةِ.
