Alors que nous étions à Adharbijan, 'Umar nous a écrit : « Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a interdit de porter de la soie, sauf une petite quantité. » Puis le Prophète (ﷺ) a rapproché ses deux doigts (l’index et le majeur) pour nous montrer la taille. Zuhair (le sous-narrateur) a levé son majeur et son index.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَيْنَا عُمَرُ وَنَحْنُ بِأَذْرَبِيجَانَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى عَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ إِلاَّ هَكَذَا، وَصَفَّ لَنَا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِصْبَعَيْهِ. وَرَفَعَ زُهَيْرٌ الْوُسْطَى وَالسَّبَّابَةَ.
