Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Si l’un d’entre vous éternue, il doit dire : “Al-Hamduli l-lah” (Louange à Allah), et son frère musulman ou son compagnon doit lui répondre : “Yar-hamuka-l-lah” (Qu’Allah te fasse miséricorde). Quand ce dernier dit : “Yar-hamuka-l-lah”, le premier doit répondre : “Yahdikumul-lah wa Yuslih balakum” (Qu’Allah vous guide et améliore votre situation). »
حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" إِذَا عَطَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ. وَلْيَقُلْ لَهُ أَخُوهُ أَوْ صَاحِبُهُ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ. فَإِذَا قَالَ لَهُ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ. فَلْيَقُلْ يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ ".
