Quand le Prophète (ﷺ) est décédé, il ne restait rien de comestible sur mon étagère à part quelques grains d’orge. J’en ai mangé pendant un certain temps, puis quand j’ai mesuré ce qu’il restait, il n’y en avait plus.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله
عنها ـ قَالَتْ لَقَدْ تُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَمَا فِي رَفِّي مِنْ شَىْءٍ يَأْكُلُهُ ذُو كَبِدٍ، إِلاَّ شَطْرُ شَعِيرٍ فِي رَفٍّ لِي، فَأَكَلْتُ مِنْهُ حَتَّى طَالَ عَلَىَّ، فَكِلْتُهُ، فَفَنِيَ.
