J’ai participé à une bataille, et ‘Abdullah bin Rawahah disait : Ô mon âme ! Je vois que tu ne veux pas aller au Paradis. Par Allah, tu y entreras sûrement, que tu le veuilles ou non. »
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا دَيْلَمُ بْنُ غَزْوَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ حَضَرْتُ حَرْبًا فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوَاحَةَ يَا نَفْسِ أَلاَ أَرَاكِ تَكْرَهِينَ الْجَنَّهْ أَحْلِفُ بِاللَّهِ لَتَنْزِلِنَّهْ طَائِعَةً أَوْ لَتُكْرَهِنَّهْ
